Cricket: Netherland and Nepal has been granted a t20 international status

Cricket: ICC has granted Intenational T20 status to Netherland and Nepal teams in the Annual  Conference in Melbourne.


Both teams had fought in T20 World Cup in Bangladesh and qualified for the second round after defeating United Arab Emirates and Ireland.


Nepal had faced elimination n the qualifying round due to their lower run rate than hosts Bangladesh, but they fought beautifully by winning their opening matches.


The countries join Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Ireland, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and the UAE as comrade members with T20 world status.


 Above all the member ships decision made at congress, the ICC confirmed the USA Cricket Association and not the American Cricket Federation as its perceived member in the United States.
