Football World Cup 2014 Brasil: Dutch defeated Chile with double

SAO PAULO:  Netherlands beaten Chile 2-0 to win their group and likely avoid a World Cup showdown with Brazil on Monday.

Both teams had already Qualified for the second round after beginning with wins over Spain and Australia.


Chile are now expected to have Brazil in the last 16 combat, with Louis van Gaal's side set to face either Mexico or Croatia.

 The Netherlands, missing suspended captain Robin van Persie, finally broke through Chile´s defence on 77 minutes.


Both these matches wasn't important because every teams already knew their results, now Brazil face Cameroon in Brasilia while Croatia take on Mexico. These matches are might be important their nations would be looking for them.
