 Russia's goal keeper was made unable to see through laser

Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev was "blinded" by a laser before the goal that thrown his side from the World Cup, according to coach Fabio Capello.

Televisions footage also captured the scene in which goal keeper Akinfeev's face was being appointed by laser seconds before Islam Slimani scored Algeria's equaliser in a 1-1 draw.

Capello, whose team need a victory to make place in last 16, said: "The goalkeeper was unable to do his job.
"The laser was in his face. It is not an excuse. You can see in the footage."
