Hodgson said he will make changes in Englad's final match line up against Costa Rica

Football World Cup Brazil 2014: Roy Hodgson will make changes in England line-up for World Cup final game against Costa Rica.

England wasn't able to make a spot in World Cup round two while their Group D opponents have gained a place in the knockout stages.

Hodgson said "I'm going to be picking the side with a view to making certain all the players, if possible, that have been with us here get some minutes on the field of play," .

 Hodgson also added: "If you interpret that as planning for the future I would understand but basically it's not planning the future and it's certainly not opinion.

England had no change in their line-up in the defeating games against Italy and Uruguay



"I'm making certain a group of players I personally believe have done everything they possibly could for me and my coaching team to give us some success on the field, coming home far too early and hardly disappointed, get a chance at least to say 'that I wasn't just there for the ride'."
