Queen's Park Oval: West Indies finally have victory over kiwis to level the series.
West Indies vanished New Zealand's resistance and have a 10-wicket victory after lunch on the final day of the second
test at Queen's Park Oval.
New Zealand were dismissed for 331 in their second innings and gave 93 runs only, opener Chris Gayle gave a stylish attack and made wonderful 80 runs with just 46 balls with his bat and completed 95 runs without loss off 13.2 overs.
Gayle added seven fours and six sixes in his score, left Kraigg Brathwaite trailing
in his wake. But it was the junior and confident opening partner who took the
man-of-the-match award for his first innings of 129.
Score:
New Zealand: 221 and 331
West Indies: 461 and 95-0
Victory leads series tied at 1-1 heading into the third and final test
starting on Thursday at Kensington oval in Bridgetown.
