FORTALEZA: Brazil will miss his forward Neymar due to his broken vertebrae in rest of their matches.
Football World Cup 2014, Brazil forward and Barcelona's hero broke his back bone in the match vs Colombia ( won by 2-1)
"It´s not serious in the sense that it doesn´t need surgery, but he´ll need to immobilize it to recover," team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said after the player had been taken to hospital.
"Unfortunately, he´s not going to be able to play," he said, adding he expected the recovery period to take at least a few weeks.
Neymar, 22, was in tears when he was carried off on a stretcher before being taken to hospital in Fortaleza.
Coach Scolari said: "Neymar was going to be hunted. For three matches that has been happening."
Neymar fell hard to the field just a few minutes before match ended after a challenge by Colombia’s Juan Zuniga. He also said that he had to play his game and was like “defending my shirt"
“It was a normal move” he said. “I never meant to hurt a player.”

Neymar was later transferred to a private clinic in Fortaleza and huge amount of audience were gathered there shouting "Forca Neymar" (be strong Neymar)
