Tennis: Andy Murray beat Kevin Anderson to meet Grigor in Quarter-final

LONDON: Defending champion Andy Murray reached quarter final after beating South African Anderson.
British Murray was tested by the big-serving South African, on a career-high ranking of 18, but yet prevailed 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (8/6) in a match on Centre Court concluded under the roof.

He next faces Bulgarian 11th seed Grigor Dimitrov on Wednesday for a place in the semi-finals. "I knew I was going to get tested at some stage," Murray said. "I was pushed, especially in the middle part of that second set, then obviously later on in the third there were some tight moments. But I handled them fairly well. It was a good match. When it was outdoors, I played very well and was in a good position. When we came back indoors, he started to strike the ball a bit better, he started serving better. It´s good to get through in straight sets."

Grigor has won only 23 but he has been progressing from a really young age The Bulgarian has taken his time to develop his game and his physique, he actually aided him; it’s not been too much, too soon, and he ads steady success in his career.

Grigor played some of the best tournament in his career, especially on Monday when he did wonderfully in a rain-interrupted, straight-sets win over Argentinian Leonardo Mayer. And he is 11th seed with good reason, after winning at Queens on the verge of Wimbledon and, earlier this year, reaching his first quarters at a major in Australia.

Andy will be very confident in his match, and satisfies with his present performance so far.
