LONDON: Top seed Novak Dijokovic made his spot in final eight for sixth successive year after beating French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Monday

2011 champion, Dijokovic, will be playing in his 21st successive Grand Slam quarter-final when he meets Croatia´s Marin Cilic for semi-final place.
Dijokovic leads Cilic 9-0 in his records, Monday's victory was his 13th in 18 meetings against two-time Wimbledon semi-finalist Tsonga and 11th in a row. "In the third set he started to serve very well, very dynamic, very strong. It was important to hang in there, get into the tie-break," said Djokovic who dismissed 44 winners. I am feeling good, I had two days off, I could recover a little bit. In the first week I had a couple of tough matches."
Earlier, Djokovic had lost a set against Radek Stepanek in the second round and dismissed spectacularly against Simon in the tournamnet. But he immediately entered the zone playing under the Centre Court’s closed roof and a spell of constant hitting earned him a single break before he took the first set in just 25 minutes
On facing Cilic, the Serb added: "He knows how to play on grass and definitely he has nothing to lose so I look forward to a tough one."
