World Cup 2014: Jan Vertonghen, Belgium defender, said that his side is not afraid of Argentina.
Argentina's side owns their hero Messi, who has scored four goals in four matches.
"We are a team that is difficult for an opponent to play against. We are certainly not scared," said Vertonghen.
"We have been confident all tournament. We believe in ourselves. We are feeling strong physically and mentally. Belgium don't have to fear anyone," the Tottenham defender said at the pre-match press conference.
But Belgium will have to admit Argentina's captain and Brcelona hero Messi.
Chelsea's Eden Hazard, 23, has taken part in his side four times win by scoring two winning goals but has shown only peek of his quality.
"We've got Eden," said Kevin Mirallas, also a team mate. "You can't compare him with Messi or (Cristiano) Ronaldo, but he is still something special."
Red Devils had a sensational last 16 match, which took extra time to force USA out of the tournament.
"Against the Americans there was much more room and I expect Argentina to look to dictate the play.
Vertonghen proclaimed to his nation : "If we go out but put in a great performance and show what we're worth, we will still go home with a feeling of satisfaction."
