Wimbledon 2014: Tournament comes to its end with suspense of Federer vs Djokovic

Roger Federer and Djokovic going to meet in clash for Wimbledon 2014 title

That U.S. Open match back in 2007 turned out to be one to remember for Federer. The living legend took care of the up-and-coming Serbian in straight sets to earn his 12th career Grand Slam title and fourth straight U.S. Open.

Also after defeatin Raonic  he said he has "a lot of energy left in the tank" to set up a meeting with Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final.

2011 champion, Djokovic , overcame a arthritic test to fire Grigor Dimitrov 6-4 3-6 7-6 (7-2) 7-6 (9-7).

Djokovic has seen his career go nowhere but up since that 2007 confrontation with Federer. Since then, he's gone on to win six Grand Slam titles, including Wimbledon in 2011. And now it's Djokovic who apparently has a ticket perforated to every final of every major tournament.

In 34 meetings with Djokovic, dating back to 2006, Federer leads the head-to-heads 18-16, including a win before two years over Djokovic winning his seventh title.
"It's really important for me to stay aggressive against him, and especially here at Wimbledon," said Federer.
"Novak can hurt you down the line or cross-court on both sides.
"His forehand, his serve, his movement clearly is what stands out the most at the moment. He's really been able to improve that and make it rock solid."

Djokovic, the six-time Grand Slam winner,  has lost five of his past six Grand Slam finals.
"There is plenty of motivation from my side to win this final - it would mean a lot mentally for me," he said.

"I've been going through some tough matches in this tournament, but I'm going to try to use that experience in a positive way."
