Madrid: Spain's midfielder Xavi Hernandez in a personal disappointment for his national team, announced retirement from his national team after his radiant achievements with his team including 2010 World Cup pride and two European champion ships on Tuesday.
This decision was known to many players of Spain after European Cup Xavi had decided to resign but he will play for Barcelona "Now its time for me to resign and to let my team to think about the loss in World Cup 2014 and i have decided to leave my national team as i was already over in World Cup."
"That was a great time for us as World Champions and i also had great period in my team it has been a great honor for me" Xavi also told the conference that he will stay with Barcelona till his contract ends.
