HARARE:All-rounder Mitchell Marsh's fabulous performance helped Australia to a 62-run victory over South Africa on Tuesday to make spot in the triangular series final on Saturday.
Marsh smashed a remorseless 86 from 51 balls to advance Australian total to 282 for seven, and then captured two crucial wickets as South Africa were bowled out for 220 in 44 overs.
Faf du Plessis´ ferocious 126 did not help his team while none of his team-mates crossed 25, with Mitchell Johnson, Glenn Maxwell and Kane Richardson joining Marsh with two wickets aside.
Victory secured Australia from suspension in tri-angular series and also reached final where they should meet South Africa again but nothing can be predicted as Zimbabwe defeated Australia also.
South Africa now need to defeat the Zimbabwe to secure their final against Australia and match will be played on Thursday 4th September 2014.
