Amazed with IPL's moments


Indian Premier League (IPL) is a Twenty20 cricket tournament where different national teams participate for the title. The tournament started in 2008 and from then it usually takes place every year in the months of April–June. The most recent edition was the IPL-7 held in 2014. It is presently owned by BCCI Vice-President Ranjib Biswal, who works as the League's chairman and Commissioner. Sundar Raman has been the IPL chief performing officer (COO) since its first season, after he was named by former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi in 2008.

Novak Djokovic (Serbian: Novak Đoković, Новак Ђоковић, pronounced [nôʋaːk d͡ʑôːkoʋit͡ɕ] was born on 22 May 1987. Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player who is presently ranked World No. 1 by the corporation of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He is known to be one of the enormous tennis players of all time.

Djokovic has achieved total of 108 weeks. By leading three Grand Slam titles in 2011, Djokovic became the sixth male player to win three Grand Slams in a calendar year. Andy Murray - A great Tennis player


Andrew Barron "Andy" Murray was born on 15 May 1987. He is a Scottish professional tennis player, ranked World No. 9. He has been British No. 1since 27 February 2006. He won a top-10 ranking by the ATP for the first time on 16 April 2007, and was at a career peak of World No. 2 from 17 August 2009 to 13 September 2009, then again from 1 April 2013 to 21 April 2013 and 13 May 2013 to 18 August 2013. 

He won Wimbledon Championships singles title in 2013, and is the 2012 Olympic tennis men's singles champion. In 2013, Murray became the sixth man in tennis history to have won over $30 million in career prize money.

His mind helps him alot during match so he has ability to take his match and also to give a good impression.

Sania Mirza and Soares won mixed double in New York


NEW YORK: India´s Sania Mirza clinched her third Grand Slam mixed doubles title on Friday, gaining the US Open crown with Brazilian partner Bruno Soares and then asserted herself "a proud Indian".
Mirza and Soares beat American Abigail Spears and Mexico´s Santiago Gonazalez with 6-1, 2-6, 11-9.
Soares alleged a second US Open mixed doubles title to snatched with his 2012 victory with Russian Ekaterina Makarova.
Mirza had hoisted mixed doubles titles at the 2009 Australian Open and 2012 French Open with national Mahesh Bhupathi.
Mirza, 27, also wife of former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik, finished with tears over the bickering.
"It was difficult, you know. Just before I left there was a lot happening at home. But, yeah. Still a proud Indian, I guess, five weeks later," said Mirza, whose women´s doubles crusave with Zimbabwe partner Cara Black ended on Thursday at the hands of Martian Hingis and Flavia Pennatta.
Mirza and Soares, fighting in their first event together,required six match points to achived his success on Friday with the Indian star enjoying by operating in an vigorous bunny hop into the arms of the Brazilian.

"I got tight. He held his nerve. I needed that a little bit with my serve. I was serving well till then," said Mirza, who double depreciated on the first match point. "I was creating a lot of first serves. It´s never easy. No matter how many you win, never easy to close it out."

Djokovic left Murray behind in quarter-final


NewYork: Top seed Novak Djokovic moved to an eighth successive US Open semi-final after thwarting a shrivelling challenge from longtime rival Andy Murray that finished after 1 a.m. Thursday morning. The sensational opening two sets on Arthur Ashe stadium promoted eight service breaks and lasted 2 hrs., 13 mins. before Djokovic professed curb in the second half of the match to win 7-6(1), 6-7(1) 6-2, 6-4.
World champion Djokovic, assured his 50th win in New York and 13th in 21 fights against his childhood competing who had achieved the 2012 title.
Wimbledon champion Djokovic and Murray had spent a fascinating 4 hours 54 minutes fighting the 2012 final and their quarter-final contest exposed to exceed that mark when they required over two hours to get through the first two sets of a tie that began on Wednesday and finished Thursday.
at the end, however, Murray was trying hard with what seem to be a repetition of his long-standing back problem, a tradition of having spent three and a half hours more on court than Djokovic in getting to this stage.

 "I was down in the first set and I fought back. I was down in the second set and a break and I fought back. I fought hard. I played some good tennis. But it wasn't enough. I'm obviously disappointed."

Caroline Wozniacki into the semi's after 2011


NEW YORK: Caroline Wozniacki, a denmark tennis star, rambled into the semi-finals of the US Open with an remarkable 6-0 6-1 win over 13th seed Italian Sara Errani.
The 10th seed will play in the last four at a grand slam for the first time since 2011 by beating Errani at her own game plain.
The former world number one will combat China's Peng Shuai, who attained her first Grand Slam position in semi-final by thrashing Swiss teenager Belinda Bencic out by 6-2 6-1.
“It’s been a lovely up and upset year for me,” said Wozniacki. “To be standing here in the semi-finals of the US Open glad.”

Enngland handed over series to tourists


England batting first , able manage only 207 runs to give India a target. Ajinkya Rahane batting superbly made 106 and Shikhar Dhawan 97 not out as India won with 117 balls remaining.
England never cured from collapsing to 23-3 after being asked to bat.
From England's side only Moeen Ali, who made 67 from 52 deliveries, showed some kind of eloquence and England's 206 could not become that of aggressive as expected.
Three clumsy depiction made England to have a defeat in their home ground before World Cup, with seven matches in Sri Lanka and a tri-series against Australia and India to come before the tournament begins on 14 February.

Australia's Marsh secured their place in final


HARARE:All-rounder Mitchell Marsh's fabulous performance helped  Australia to a 62-run victory over South Africa on Tuesday to make spot in the triangular series final on Saturday.
Marsh smashed a remorseless 86 from 51 balls to advance Australian total to 282 for seven, and then captured two crucial wickets as South Africa were bowled out for 220 in 44 overs.
Faf du Plessis´ ferocious 126 did not help his team while none of his team-mates crossed 25, with Mitchell Johnson, Glenn Maxwell and Kane Richardson joining Marsh with two wickets aside.
Victory secured Australia from suspension in tri-angular series and also reached final where they should meet South Africa again but nothing can be predicted as Zimbabwe defeated Australia also.

South Africa now need to defeat the Zimbabwe to secure their final against Australia and match will be played on Thursday 4th September 2014.

IPL Scandal: Investigation committee to quiz N Srinivasan in Chennai


NEW DELHI:India's Supreme Court on Monday jilted N Srinivasan's entreaty for refurbishment as BCCI president saying he cannot be granted with duties to take up the charge till he claimed a clean bill from Justice Mudgal Committee which is piercing him and 12 players taking part in Spot-fixing in IPL.
Srinivasan, who was compelled by court in March to stand aside as chief of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) discerning inquiry, now serving as the chief of International Cricket Council (ICC).
The tribunal inquiry, led by former judge Mukul Mudgal, had admitted basic reports into the accusation surrounding the Indian Premier League (IPL) to the Supreme Court on Friday but had asked for more time to pack up up their investigation.
In Monday´s investigation in New Delhi, a two-judge bench gave the committee until November 10 when the court will hear again.
The bench of judge said "Signing account book is not a ground. This cannot be a ground for renovation." 
The court instructed the hearing after refusing a application by the BCCI to supervise its own inquest into plea about matches in last year´s Twenty20 tournament.
The bench added that no comments have been submitted against Srinivasan in the investigations but the inquiry is still going on and he will not allow to serve as BCCI boss.

It said that the chamber wants more time as it has to observe the statements of some players who are in England and playing for their team and also voice samples of some people need to be matched while investigating.

"We have observed the analysis from the report. Two months time for completion of inquiry does not seem authentic. The way in which it is going on, it will consume five years. It's going to be a hard charge for the Committee," the bench said, asking it to accelerate the sift.


International news organisations and Agence France-Presse (AFP) have left their on-field coverage of matches hosted by the BCCI since 2012 after the board set constraint on picture agencies.

Murray want to forget the past to advance in US open


US open 2014: Andy Murray have been thinking much about that defeat in July's Wimbledon against Dimitrov.
Even though he prefers to keep his results to himself, the next few days will give sign whether he has found the key to start beating other members of the sport's exclusive once again.
Winning against Tsonga in US open will not only his first time ever victory against top 10 but also he will get chance to play Djokovic in quarter finals.
"Sometimes you can perform really well tennis and lose. I'm more interested in doing hard way to win the match against Jo and playing the right strategy to give myself the best chance of doing that."
Murray demanded his recent defects against other top-10 players do not extremely prey on his mind.
